My name is Alba Scott and this is my electronic portfolio, the culminating requirement to obtain my Master's in Library and Information Science at San Jose State University.

During my three years attending the School of Library and Information Science, I was exposed to many different facets of library services and information delivery. This electronic portfolio contains samples of my academic and professional work through which I attempt to fulfill the core competencies established by the School of Library and Information Science.

Browsing through my portfolio, viewers will find that I took a diverse array of classes and did not follow any specialization within the program. My interests changed as I advanced through each class and I freely chose courses based on personal interests and professional positions held at the time. But within diversity there is coherence that I hope to show as I present each of the fourteen competencies, making this e-Portfolio a whole representation of my work and experience.
